I read about FFK’s ‘stroking’ of our dear president (I dare not
use commander in chief simply because, he has not yet earned the right to such
appellation, I guess he is still bloody civilian) anyways the dear honey of some
people’s Jesus Christ, our very own madam Peshe, might have been accused of having
no balls.
So let me start with my brief history, epistle, maybe
lamentation on our dear president, first of all I never liked him, simply
because he dines with the devil (PDP), I guess he is now paying for that no. Because
as they say the devil always comes to
collect as is the case of G7; now back to the matter, it’s also because someone
close to me campaigned for him on the basis that he was a Christian, and
Christians are always good and righteous
so he should be voted for, when we all knew there were better options
(that’s not the right word there were less burdensome guys than him, since there
has always been a dearth of leaders and abundance of rulers especially those
that want to rule for 60 years), I guess we all learnt our lesson because last time I checked
petrol was not sold to Christians at #65
we all pay the same price for the commodity.
All that is history now he won or rather didn’t lose the
election, after that I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt. Since I believed
he definitely would have learnt that he needed but nobody God. That he wouldn’t
give a damn what they think, he will
feel that he had everything by chance so he won’t be bothered by the pressures
from career politicians, some part of me really thought he could be the
greatest Nigerian ever. Compared to the likes of Awolowo, Azikwe etc. That he will
surround himself with fresh hands and heads, especially folks from the university
system, and they will give us a country we can all take pride in.
But after I saw his ministerial selection, it was obvious
there were better people for the posts, and now it’s obvious we are still
running government business as usual the same way it as always been run
yielding the same old abundance of disservice, but no matter his failures he is
still the president.
Our country can be said to be a jet, with GEJ, as our chief pilot,
and if he crashes the plane, may God help anyone without some cool cash stashed
somewhere to protect them.
So before I make this all about me, let me reiterate that this
is about our sleeping lion or tiger or whatever. This is to jolt him back to
action, help him grow some balls, or rather point it in the right direction
because he showed us really had it in him with his well-orchestrated and well packaged
New Year gift (subsidy removal).
After I saw his “president address people” or “people address
president”, I learnt some new things about him, I was impressed most especially
with his comment on corruption, which I believe can only come from someone that
really doesn’t give a damn what we think, or someone that can stand by his comments.
I must confess I totally agree with him on that issue, I care
little about people who steal resources, I agree that is not our greatest
challenge, they will get theirs sooner or later. But our problem is the lack of
vision and the political will to actually get things done. We have proved times
without number corruption is the Nigerian way, eating our national akara (resources)
is not the most of my concern, as long as you give us the palm oil and pot (good
roads network, policies, stable electricity, etc.) to use to fry and produce
our own akara and if we have enough security as we go along with our daily business,
I personally won’t give a heck what goes on Aso shell or in their conclaves. But
still our resources cannot continue to be stolen at our own expense.
Everything starts from the top, that’s you Mr. president,
your boys keep screaming transformation agenda, till the point it has lost its
meaning and is not more than another political gimmick, I can bet more than 95%
of Nigerians do not know what your grand agenda has to offer them at least I don’t,
and I have heard it more than a million times.
My recommendation, is if you intend to contest for another
term, you must first and foremost have bring this violent animals and traitors under
control, you have to stop this bastards and all this they are my people as well
gimmick is getting tiresome and must be stopped, as they are nothing more than
maniacal tools in the hands of some spineless politician or they were. They
should be shown their place, and not sympathy.
My advice is that as we all know that leading a country like
Nigeria is difficult, but I believe, you believed in the fact that you could
handle it, which was why you contested in the first place, it has always been
said that uneasy lies the head that wears the crown ( I guess that’s why to me
you only look ok with some head gear on) all I leader needs for success, is not
even to be superfluously wise or smart, all you need to do is to surround
yourself with capable hands and heads that do more political permutations, thereby
increasing our standard of living.
All you need is the will and wise advisers. That’s all. And that
will really be great and you will be able to give us what you promised us.
On a final note. we can’t have a president who in spite of
all the powers vested in his office, will be handling high risk and sensitive
issues with a flagrant display of impotence, one that always has an excuse of either, cabals, opposition and some imaginary corrupt
and almighty Nigerians in high places. As
our leader you must bring down all the evil ones in the so called high places
because the office of the president supersedes others and is the highest place
in Nigeria.
We voted for you and what happens or do not happen will held
to your account, and you will responsible for it, it’s time to stop all this
bickering and focus on the main issues at hand.
I will implore you to take a break to actually study what is
expected of and from you, and If you feel you are not man enough to handle the heat its time you excused us.
We can’t
have a sissy as president!!!!
